VIDEO SURVEY OPTION AVAILABLE
With certain sized moves we prefer to carry out a pre-move survey so we can accurately estimate what needs to be moved and provide an accurate quotation. In the past this would require one of our surveyors to visit you in your home to carry out the survey. We now offer a video survey option, which is quicker and more convenient for you, and it allows us to accurately estimate the volume of effects that need to be moved.
Our experienced surveyors carry out the video survey so that they can estimate the amount and type of furniture and effects that you wish to move. It works using our smart app and is comparable to carrying out a video call on your tablet or smartphone.
Your video survey will be booked in by your Gerson Relocation Move Manager and they will send you confirmation of the time and date of your survey along with access to the app. At the time of your appointment, you will be sent a message and you can then use the camera on your device to connect with your surveyor so that they talk to you as they walk through your home.
As your surveyor walks through your home, they will ask questions about any items that are fragile or have a high value so they can assess the best packing requirements for these items. The more information you can give your surveyor will help for them to provide a bespoke and accurate quotation.
